Eastenders - All Black Cast for the 1st time
If you watched tonights episode did you notice that every character was black?
Nope neither did i.
Does this finally mean we dont actually pay that much attention to peoples skin colour any more because we are more interested in what they have to say

Actually that is a lie. I was watching Man U, and did you know I don't think the Sun did a black bodycount, however there was a shedload of foreigners on the pitch

Is this Britains way of competing with Americas first black president? It hardly feels like an amazing TV first, after all I've seen The Cosby Show, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and even the home grown show Desmonds. So what, exactly, are the BBC trying to prove here?

So what was the point?
Hardly representative of the population of London, and by actively promoting it to the exclusion of the chinese, asians, arabs, poles, latvians, albanians etc etc etc that go to make up the melting pot that is our capital, they're hardly embracing multiculturalism are they?
Every time something like this comes along, all it does is emphasise differences, stop differentiating, we're all people.

Nar, the guy in the cafe was half cast. I had read it on the internet yesterday afternoon. At the end of the program I mentioned to the misses that it was an all black show and she hadnt noticed either.
Dont think it was anything to do with making a statement, just how the storyline went I guess

I have said it before, its the BBC going overboard to be down with the street, same on Radio One always rattling on about Black and Asian music, no issue with the particular minorities, I just cant be arsed with the BBC going on about it, "Ooo we all ao right on and inclusive", I dont want an all white episode of Eastenders (or any other episode regardless for that matter) so I cant imagine the Black community is really all that arsed either.
What would be really funny is if the existing cast blacked up and talked in fake Jamican accents, can you imagine the agro that would cause
