I made a Scamera flash on the opposite side ?
Slowing from a 40 to a 30, camera on the other side of a dual carriageway, with a wall and flowers (not that it matters) between us and it flashed me .. the one on my side didn't ...
WTF ?

I followed a taxi yesterday and he swerved onto the opposite side of the road into on-coming traffic just to avoid getting taxed.... muppet.

My mate was avoiding a fox, very early in the morning and so ended up across into the other side of the road (no cars about, if there had have been he woulda squished the fox instead as he drives a 4x4) and got flashed from the opposite way

Ahh, I've often wondered why they put lines on both sides of the road in a place near me, where they only put up one camera. I thought they were going to flip the camera round or somethin'.

These are the future kiddies to watch for....
We have one on the A205 that you can make flash by passing faster in the opposite direction.
I am a strong believer that if you get the timing right you can REALLY ruin the next week or 2 for the driver in the opposite direction. Waiting for the letter to hit the mat.
It would of course not be funny if one day they replaced all these camera's with Truvelo's to catch people out who like setting them off in the "opposite" direction.

I've read many times that if a STATIC gatso flashes you on the other side of the road, thats because it's incorrectly aligned. There is a specific Scamera in a '40 to 30' zone close to me that I always manage to set off. 10 years of it flashing me and never heard anything. Apparently its dangerous when flashing you on the other side of the road as they could quite easily blind/distract you and cause an accident! Lets start legal procedures and sue!
