Here in North Lincs, the local Labour-run council has just decided to table a motion to give councillors a pension out of our council tax.

The Tories, in opposition, and one or two Lib-Dems and neutrals, voted against it.

It got passed, of course.

NOW the Tories and etc who OPPOSED it have decided to accept the pension after all..........they say it would be rude and pointless not to

One of my local MP's gets a travel allowance; something like £2.50 a mile........................



......................... to ride a pushbike to his office a couple of miles away. All in all, not a massive amount of money, but it's the principle of it.

I have a local MP in the family (not blood line family, removed family) I stopped talking to him a while ago because of the things they get up too. Makes you sick.

Make a complaint to the local rag and next time don't vote for them.

Is it any wonder the country is in decline morally and financially when you look at who is in charge.

Yes i know that there are some MPs who do the right thing and fight the good fight even so, perhaps they should be more vocal and bring this to the attention of the public so these morraly corrupt and not fit for purpose MP's and punlic servants can be outed and removed.

Laws need to be looked at, MPs and public servants need to be accountable and thier finances transparent for all to see.


I am really disgusted that this goes on, in business and the real world they would call it deception in a lot of cases.

I'd love to know what they actually do for their money. Our local MP is utterly useless
And the Council is dreadful. I begrudge every single penny I pay to them
