Default Grrr, She bought an ironing board today - how much?????

£89 for a fcking ironing board, now I'm not a tight ar$e but Jesus.

I thought she took the biscuit spending nearly £100 on a kitchen bin last month, at least that looks nice.

Or is this just how much stuff costs these days.

She's probably bought it as a present for you Cookie, in which case it's not too much to spend!

That's it Brabantia, Thing is she didn't go out specifically to look for a board, just saw it and bought it.

I have never really looked on those sites, might give them a go.

Snap - my Missus went for the Brabantia as well.
£100 for a bin?
I just don't get it.
Mind you, it's in the kitchen, so none of my business anyways.
Maybe it's high time she got a job

God you sound like my old man - just because I spent £159 of MY redundancy on a new iron (to iron his blooooody clothes!!)

And him, the very next day he spent £800 on a twin kayak - trouble is we already have five and there is only three of us............?

Still Cookstar, wait til she starts spending on the baby.......................!!

The words 'isn't it cute' and 'i couldn't resist it' were regular ones here!!!

Dont even go there with the baby stuff, the entire room is filled with "cute" outfits already. I just hope to god that they were right and it's a girl, or it's going to be a very pink boy.

Ah, a little girl, well let me tell you, she will not go without - not because of mummys spending but because from the second you see her she will have you wrapped right around her little finger!

And that's the voice of experience - both of us wanted a little boy, but we were blessed with a gorgeous girl, who now at 11 still has daddy jumping through hoops (along with his wallet!!

Good luck for the safe (and speedy) arrival - can't wait to see the piccys!!

All you can do is to get as much use out of it yourself to make up for it.

I've been saying the same for years about designer clothes, handbags and many premium items. What actually makes a pair of certain jeans worth £150+ more than another pair And what can a £1000 handbag do that a £12.99 one can't

£100 for the bin is about right, bought one for the wife a couple of christmas' ago. Spent less than £50 on a state of the art ironing board from Costco for her Birthday last year.

Mind you Cookie, how much money have you thrown at cars over the past couple of years? and you're moaning about less than a £100 on an ironing board.

Are you for real
One, you would be wearing the bin on your head, two. I can't say on this board where I would shove the ironing board

Mark she could have got a decent secondhand STi spoiler for that sort of money & used that instead.

Is the ironing board super plush & comfy?

May come in handy for things other than ironing.

Once baby is born of course.
