I blame the satnav companies, they should design the systems so that if you are travelling on something that isn't a proper road at more than walking pace the satnav issues a polite reminder.

I NEVER trust Sat Nav. One time TomTom insisted I take the M1 south when I'd rather take the A1 and it bitched and bitched telling me to take one junction after another until it eventually had a complete rattle moment and said "Make a U-turn as soon as possible"

The guy is an idiot and i think everyone who uses a sat nav as probably been given wrong instructions, but some where common sense says hold up a sec, that really don't look like a good road or dirt track to drive along. It's very simple or your just a complete dumbass, these stories amaze me.![Lol1](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/lol1.gif)

Was he driving with his eyes close. What a clown.
Got a sat nav system built into my phone and have used it once, and it tried to send me across a field in the middle of wales! Whats wrong with a good old map.

Must admit I override my satnav for most of the journey. Only use it really for the last 3 or so miles.
Why, I can read a friking map and road signs, its not difficult. The sat navs only there cos it displays how much futher and ETA.
These stories do amaze me though, how dumb are some people.

On a flaming dual carriageway!
It started off sending her to the motorway, which she ignored and took a shortcut across town on a dual carriageway.
The TomTom XL just adjusted itself and continued to guide her to her destination via her chosen route.
