Anyone out there Camp?
Not "Chase me, chase me. Touch my Bum" kind of Camp.
Outdoor weekend summer V festival type of camping is what I mean.
M'after some recommendations for a decent tent.
It only has to sleep 2 but would like decent space and an entrance porch possibly. Easy to secure, comfortable etc etc.
Anyone got personal experience / recommendations.
As always - Thanks to the Scooby Community for pearls of wisdom.

I took a Gelert Rocky 3 to the V festival last year. Its a good size for 2 people, has a little entrance cover, well made easy to put up and cheap enough to not worry about people falling on it or peeing up the side of it. I wouldn't take anything more expensive that that.
We have a bit of a collection of Vangos and Gelerts now, including the monster Vango Diablo 900XP

For something like that, I'd go for as cheap as possible. Chances are its going to get trashed.
But thank you , you've just reminded me I need to look at camp beds for my week in Wales later this year.

you need a proper tent mate then you can hold your own festival inside!
seriously though, we've bought one of the little gelert pitch quest tents and it takes about 5 minutes to put up.
Quick Pitch Quest Tent - Gelert
we paid £75 for it in the pre-season sales. We've used it one in Wales and it persissed down all weekend and it leaked, but this was easily solved with spray on water repellent.

I have a coleman 2 man tent, cost me £130 took it to global gathering i won off this site only to have some numpty collapse on the thing breaking one of the poles, luckily they are easily replaceable, it's one very tough tent and very easy to put up, say 5-10 minutes tops.
It's something like this one only better, don't think you can get mine anymore which is a shame.
Coleman Bedrock 2 Tent in Tents,2 Man Tents from Simply Hike

i used to camp on scooter rallies (b&b when i go these days as most of my club have 10yrs on me, so they're all falling apart these days and can't handle a tent for more than 1 night any more!). i just bought a £40-60 tent every few years light enough to go on the back of my lambretta and usually a 3 berth (so there is enough space for 2+crash helmets, leathers, beer etc).
i would suggest you just buy a cheap one on the basis that it will probably get trashed. if it doesn't, then the kids can use it in the garden!
