i bought 2 eggs this morning for my brothers kids, and somehow over the course of the day, one of them has disappeared
the thing is, i now have the dilemma, i need to either buy 1 more egg, or scoff the other one and buy 2 new ones i have to go to the shop anyway to buy 1, so i am thinking i might as well buy 2

I won a huge Easter egg in a charity raffle in 1990. The box stood over a metre high. The main egg was was surrounded by 6 normal size eggs, each with chocolate's inside, and in their own presentation box. At the bottom, were two large boxes of chocolates. It was specially commissioned for the raffle, and was made by Thorntons.
The main egg was so thick, it had to be broken up with a hammer.

I remember seeing eggs like that about back in the day, in baskets and stuff. Probably against EU rules now to make them that big.
This one is 28cm high, and 1.4kg

I like the idea of the biggie but when you can get 4 slabs for that price, I'd be tempted to go that route.
They used to do a coffee slab with bits of coffee in it (think it was a white/milk mix) and it was truly awesome.
