Margaret Beckett on Question Time
HTF did this stuck up, objectionable, offensive old hag get nearly 20,000 people (45%) to vote for her at the last election?
I don't think she'll do as well next time round unless all the constituents are the kind of people who enjoy being patronised by *****.

She's an old school labour polictician. Yes, whilst all the "New" Labour banners were flying in the foreground, there she was with a forced smile standing in the background. New banner - same old MPs.
Horrible useless women, Who (like many MPs) are just in the job purely for self gain.
Around at the time when Maggy Thatcher was at her prime; I long suspected that is who her real role model is. Apart from she misses one important thing; Thatcher has *****, Beckett doesn't, and never will (pardon the expression ).

It was stated that she claimed the full amount for 3 years-£72K, when when asked she said she would not pay it back!
Good of her to agree with the others that the rules should be changed, as if that makes any difference to moral arguments!

Loved the grilling she got AGAIN on Sky News Live......
Some of those presenters are frickin great at ripping into people.
She must be burnt to a crisp now the amount she has been grilled. Certainly dry and wrinkled.
And the Justice Minister too, love it.
Seems there are some classic quotes of recent that will linger for years.
Recession... "no one could have seen it coming"
Brown answer to ANY question ... "we are getting on with the job"
MP's expenses.... "its not my fault, the system is old and confusing (like Beckett) and I was just doing what I thought was right"
So my defence for speeding next time will be "sorry I thought I was driving within the rules, now I know the rules I will do the right thing"

Beckett set for comeback as Brown plans purge of tainted ministers - Times Online
"... Margaret Beckett is in the frame for a full return to Cabinet amid growing signs of a June clearout of ministers tainted by the expenses scandal ..."
Can someone gag her AND make sure she has a brown paper bag on her head when seen in public???
