A Sad Weekend
My neice sadly died on Saturday morning. She was 9 months old.
She had been ill since birth (September '08) and had it made through a number of operations but with her liver and her kidneys so badly damaged, she couldn't fight anymore, and her heart finally gave up. I was lucky enough to have spent lots of time by her bedside in the last few days.
Things were loking up and we thought she would make it (https://www.scoobynet.com/non-scooby...port-guys.html) but it was not to be.
After the constant hum of ventilators, the sound of silence was unbearable. At least now, she is no longer in pain.
RIP Miya - you will always be in our hearts.

I am very sorry for your bad news. It is terrible to hear of such a young life being lost and after all that she had gone through. I well understand how you must be feeling.
Best wishes Les

That's terrible news.
We have a nearly nine month old boy so that kind of hits home even harder.
Obviously don't know the people involved but heartfelt sympathies to the family. Sounds like they've really been through hell and will do so for a while.

Another tiny star in the sky, free from pain and suffering, now in a better place surrounded by other little ones who went too early.
She will be well looked after and happy with her new friends and carers, you will see her again.
She was showered with love and care in the short time she was here, it must be so hard for those left behind.
So, so, sad.
