Gotta love Boris! Fair play to him for helping out with a good cause, clearing litter from rivers as well.
If Brown had been in his place (not likely IMO!), and fallen over he would have probably have gone mental at the other charity members for not coming to his aid soon enough, before having all the media arrested and cameras confiscated!

Don't see how he's a **** for trying to encourage people to volunteer. Or to encourage people to keep Britain tidy.
He fell in waist deep, so what?

Not even seen the vid, but I bet he was not crying about it was he? Lol
Usually takes such things well.
I would vote for him too lol
The vid of him almost getting wiped out with the other cyclists was a shocker. In the news a lot is our Boris.

Yes, and me too, i think it shows a personality there and not a bad one, not perfect but one you can trust and seems to be down to earth - for a politio that is
Can you imagine Red Ken in the same siituation - he would have screamed terrorists and spent ££££'s on a security alert incase Al Queda had greased the path and poisoned the thames to remove one on the worlds finest minds

Given the near miss the other day with the lorry, im sure most other would have been hiding under a shady cool rock by a stream!
As funny as the whole matter is for the Boris haters, the great thing is, it shows he is human, willing and a good sport.
Thats why I voted for him
Oh and his policies were good lol

I hated Ken with a passion. I first liked Boris when he went through a red light on his cycle with the cameras rolling
He is the man

I like Boris.
He is human as has been said.
He fcuked up with us scousers, yet had the ***** to apologize.
He was human on TopGear too, almost taking the p1ss out of himself which I see as a great quality in any person.

Its the human errors and the way he deals with them that makes him so likeable to most.
Rather than having his PR and spin doctors make an amazing excuse for him.
Like Obama with the Special Olympics comment, he knew he messed up and did something about it.
Boris is far from perfect, but he does not claim to be either.
Martin, I would not say "one sided" I would say more "majority voice" There is a big difference. Its not our fault that Ken was a "Do as I say, not as I do" man.
Like Brown, towards the end of his reign, he became disliked, to the point where people wanted anything but him.
Thankfully Boris was there to fill the job.
Swiss, get the lube ready, he is trying to deal with the points, just the red tape to chop thru now.

His baffoon/oaf persona is completely manufactured, he's as spin doctored/stage managed as the best of them but in his own unique way which is what makes him so easy to like. It's totally false and he's built a career on it, fair play to him. He's a very intelligent and shrewd man.
