Brown Booed By Vets at D-Day Celebrations
Can't find an online link but Brown was roundly booed and heckled as he arrived in Normandy for D-Day celebrations.
Good to see that the lads are still on side and prepared to make their views known.
Quite right too. What right has that unelected failure got to be seen in such dignified and brave company.

**** - I hear what you say, but it was the perfect place to make the point in front of a global audience. As we all know - old people / veterans etc that heckle Brown et al, get physically roughed up and manhandled out of the way. SCUM one and all.

I bet Brown has convinced himself the booing was atmospherics or not directed at him.
The guy is deluded, cant tell right from wrong, and cares not for public opinion (bit like PSL lol)

Brown was invited, hence he attended. It would have been massively disrespectful to snub the invite, both to the French hosts and all the veterans.
And if he had not gone you would be on here berrating him for it i am sure

I can see where you are coming from. But at the same time, its their day, and surely they should be allowed an element of freedom, after all thats what so many thousands died for was it not. The freedom to express oneself, etc.
I appreciate its an important day, and a delicate day, but if vets choose to express themselves by booing at the PM attending THEIR day..... im with them.

Pontificating
I suspect the vets held that ceremony in extremely high esteem, the sad thing is they feel so utterly despondent with the current govt they felt the need to express themselves, it's fair to say these men and women have earned that right.

is a video on sky
The veterans booed him because it is thought that Downing Street encouraged Sarkozy to not invite the Queen so that he could get another photo-op with Obama. The Obama obsession seems evidenced by the Prime Mentalist’s renaming of ‘Omaha beach’ to ‘Obama beach’.
