My e39 M5 is going to be in the magazine Practical Performance Car and I want to get the wheels refurbed. The only guy that I can find that does shadow chrome in Scotland has run out of paint so I have been recomended Lepsons.
Anyone have an idea how much it's going to cost to send 18" Wheels from Glasgow to Birmingham and back.
Another silly question but whats the best way to package them up and what's a good company to use.
Lepsons charge the same price if you send them down with tyres or not and it's £65 a wheel including valves and balancing.

You can do a buy it now on ebay for about £30 - £45 each way

That should do the trick.
Give them a call about packaging but if it were me I would buy 4 cardboard boxes and send them as a 4 of 4 parcel.

but with the volume restrictions, you'd probably be looking at two shipments. The last I sent were wrapped in broken down sturdy carboard, more carboard between the faces, bin bagged and gaffa taped.

Thanks for the replies. Yes AK I went up to that place but it's not the same finish, I think its called black chrome.
The ebay link uses DHL, would it not be cheaper phoning them direct?
