Question Recommend Me A Microwave ..

Ours has just gone POP

We had one for about 18 years, cost £250 in the mid 80's It was a Tricity and was brilliant.

Bought this one about 5 years ago, Hinari - has a Grill and is an Oven also (never used either feature!) ... pretty crap overall - but, a lot cheaper than our first one!

Anyway, now want the simplest one we can find - Microwave only - with as few options on it as possible. Just a power setting and time - start button of course!

Anyone just bought one after some research?

Size about 20 Litres I imagine? Rotating Turntable also.

Buy Cookworks White Manual Microwave. at Argos.co.uk - Your Online Shop for .

Got the silver one myself. Don't see the point in spending £100's for a fancy all singing all dancing microwave just to show off to family and friends

Do you really want a microwave or are you just starting a thread saying you want one which is total fabrication and lies?

One needs to ask due to recent events, I could be wasting my time.

Never had any problems with Sharp microwaves. Spend around £75 and it'll last for years.

Just opened it up, PCB has a blown fuse ..... replaced it and it all powered up.

Wooohoooo ...

Put a cup of water in, pushed 'Start' ...... pop!

Right, off to the shops.

Yes, the fuse blew for a reason

Maybe if you had fitted a Knock Link then you would have had some advanced warning.

Do you have a fuse?

Or maybe just an offswitch?

Thumbs up

Can't recommend a microwave - but I can recommend that you stick your head in one asap and boil your brains....

Peace and Love...

Mrs Leslie wanted a very simple one so we got a Panasonic which has controls that even I can use, can't tell you the model because she can't find the manufacturer's boook-as usual.

Came from Comet.

Can't think why you should post this unless you are actually interested in getting a microwave oven! Thats what I asume anyway.
