Default Entering shiftwork schedule on iPhone or Outlook 2003?

Anyone know of a way to enter shift patterns that don't conform to the standard seven day week on the iPhone calendar or on Outlook 2003?

I work four on four off which means my first shift moves forward by one day each week. I can't find an app for it either

Have a read of this. It's specifically for iCal which is what I would assume the iPhone is using, and I'd have thought the same thing could be setup in outlook.

No go as there is no custom option in the repeat menu

doesn't that shift pattern repeat itself every 8 weeks.

If so, start with your 1st shift and tell the computer to repeat this shift every 8 weeks. Then your 2nd shift.... and so on until you catch up with the first repeat of the first shift again.

Takes a while, but its then set in for many years to come - or until they change your shift pattern again....

I'll thank you for that one too! Just finished putting all my days and nights in. Very handy.
