Fathers day is gonna be a nightmare for me as I have to take my daughter up to see my dad, then I have to take her and my lass up to see her dad and then we all have to get back for us to enjoy a good meal and a few beers

Thanks for the good wishes Lee, After the GP I shall be polishing the new paint on the Mini Cooper though. With luck Mrs Leslie will help!

I saw a great father last night. my daughter's mate (17) has had a baby, and the baby's dad (19) is a very devoted father. Too young for it, too right! But I was amazed to see how good the young dad was in changing baby's nappies and supporting his GF. Baby's grandmother is only 38 . She is very proud of her son to be sincere and suportive to the girl he impregnated.

Moral of the story is,

To all fathers,

Be good, love your children.

Whatever they give you, just know that their wellbeing, respect and love they give to you is much more than anything that money can buy. Even if it is a car freshener from a pound shop, enjoy it

Have a good one

Thank you Lezzerley

My Fathers Day has comprised of me getting up early before anyone else did and having some quality 'me' time
Then we have a lovely morning with me getting a nice card and some great clothes (which I chose yesterday ) and a lovely little mat for my coffee mug from my little one

Waiting for the comet driver to deliver our new fridge freezer and then we are taking the boys and the rest to bowling and if they dont let Daddy win then I will have a proper little strop

Back later to chill out in the garden as we bought a huge oversized badminton set

Hopefully later the good lady will give me her own 'Daddy's' present

Well I survived anyway. Trounced everyone on the first game of bowling but on the second game I was losing to the girls so I ended it early as we had to get back before the comet delivery man arrived

( well quit whilst you are losing and all )

Got reminded it was no longer Fathers Day this morning when I had to get up early, feed the cat and do other stuff...booo
