For anyone who happens to know Swindon or drives through it.
Are the scameras active again on Queens Drive??? I'm sure I got flashed today coming home doing about 45mph

Swindon pulled out of funding the partnership but that doesn't mean the partnership will not activate cameras or scam Swindon roads.

Yea I knew that much, I think they've reactivated the 2 on Queens Drive then, unless it was a reflection, I doubt it though

I reckon it's active again, don't know why they made all that fuss about decomissioning them only to open it up again.
It's the Plough hill scamera that would generate more income.

Yea I think I've been really unlucky as it was only last week that people were hammering it past them, I never would, but as we know if you go a couple mph over the limit you're nicked. Oh well back to 6 points then

Not sure now guys, the one I thought flashed me is the one which is still burnt on the lens. Maybe the flash still works? Anyway can't see that it could take a clear pic with all the lens being melted
I will wait n see n let you know.

I believe that one is still in active use, But like you said, the lense does look Burned, So you'll have to wait and see on the outcome

Noticed a link this week to say they had finally switched off the cameras so you were a bit premature. Have you heard anything yet?

The Swindon cameras now all appear to have been wrapped in silver plastic and taped up... so there's no way they'll work now... However, seems that it may have been a few weeks too late for some...

As I said the previous owner got the NIP about a month ago. FOC hah yea, but they will have mobile scameras setup there in no time.
