Its all a bit of a blur TBH But from what I recall:

Daytona; Huge beach, nothing much else.
Spring break: Lots of students and I mean LOTS decending on said beach.
Bars rammed, beer - lots of, parties in the hotel rooms.
Drunk American women dig English accents, even when most thought I was Australian


Damn sight better than Bike week, which was just before (which should be renamed "Take your Harleys to Daytona in a trailer box, and ride round and round and be a prat" week ).

Wouldn't go again at spring break as there are that many of them it sort of spoils the relaxed/fun atmos

Ah right I see what you mean now, and I can totally understand why it would spoil a relaxing holiday and also why the rudeness would get to you in that case. But you have to understand that me and my pals will be going there with the sole intention of getting sh*tfaced and banging fit American birds. We will probs be the rudest people there!

Do it! Pick a better place than Daytona though.

Cancun Looks like a better place (stopped off there on a cruise many moons back...not during spring break though).

Daytona is a bit of a dead-end town. You definetly need a car as the only decent place to eat near our motel/hotel was "Steve's famous Diner" (pretty good actually), so not good if drinking, walking ain't much better with 4 lanes of traffic to cross whilst hammered.

The major thing on Daytona is to avoid being run down by all the prats driving along the beach.
