Flu pandemics occur, historically, at 40 year intervals. Last one was in 68/69, so we're overdue. The fact that David Icke suggests its man made is enough to convince me that its nature at work.

It isn't man made, although it may be caused by the methods which we farm and keep livestock. BSE (Mad Cow disease) is an example: Who on earth thought: "I know! Lets mince up old bits of cow and feed it to other cows!".
