I just need something different to listen too. I'm an 80's early 90's electro-pop fan and love Dance music but the internet just makes music too easy to get hold of, so it gets boring quickly.

Sorry to disappoint but there's never been good country music. It's all kack !!!! nearest you'll get would be cross over country - Shania Twain and then only if you watch the videos with the sound muted - She is HOT !!!!!!!!

I hate to admit it, but when I forced to listen to this stuff, this made me tap my foot.

Bit old, and chatty, but there's worse.

Good country, particularly Bluegrass can be excellent, with some of amazing musicians. Jerry Douglas who plays dobro in Union Station being a case in point

If you use SPOTIFY you can drift between the recommendations of similar artists and find some great stuff.

Rascal Flatts are fantastic!! Well worth a listen to and they've had a couple of songs re-worked into dance tunes too so you might have listened to them without realising it.

This is some of their stuff:

YouTube - "Life Is A Highway" - Rascal Flatts Official Music Video

YouTube - "Bless The Broken Road" - Rascal Flatts Official Music Video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkWGwY5

YouTube - "Feels Like Today" - Rascal Flatts Official Music Video

The first song is from the cars disney movie and they've just been in the new hannah montana movie, so if you've got a daughter into HM then you might have heard them anyway!

Try listening to Bob Harris on Radio 2, usually a good selection played on there.
