Has anybody got one of these?
I was thinking about geting either an unlocked one to use on my orange account or changing to Vodaphone as i like the slide out keyboard.
If you have one do you know if it can be tethered to a laptop to act as a modem.
Also any other feed back would be helpfull before i take the plunge as i would like to avoid nasty surprises
Also i know everybody loves Iphone but that isnt for me.
Thanks

I am trying to get one as an upgrade on Orange but as i am not a business customer i am not allowed one??
The deal from retentions to stay on orange is very good but as i am a consumer contract i am not allowed a handset they class as for buisness use!

Well, Vodafone had said the same thing.......until they then offered to convert me to a business customer.
I asked for confirmation regarding this matter, and it involved my sending an email request. Simple.
The main difference is that Voda's consumer side is primarily for the Vodafone shops.
The contracts are the same on both consumer and business, + a 2yr warranty + next-day delivery on any replacement handset.
Just wondering about the phone itself tbh.

Rates VERY highly mate, some great reviews on it.
Have a read thru. They tend to be very honest with their reviews.

I loved the HTC Diamond, so put a full qwerty with it, and ramp up the spec of the phone and I would have loved one of these

Acer do a cracking phone which is similar to the HTC pro2. The Acer has fingerprint recognition so you can keep all your stuff safe as well. I have been temted to buy the Acer one?

Would be interested to know why the Diamond in a bad phone - just ordered a Diamond 2.
Looked a bit more at the Touch Pro 2 - gawd. It's a housebrick - don't think I could have that in my pocket

First of all there is no screen lock, so you answer or refuse calls whilst trying to pull it from the sleeve. There are some "3rd party" locks, but they are not reliable, number of times I have almost thrown the phone against a wall trying to refuse a call whilst on another phone!!
The browser is poor and slow, battery life terrible, pop email sometimes refuses to send email until you delete and reset up the account.
That do you?

LOL - I don't quite see where you're coming from. Do you like the phone then?
Hell - pretty damning that. Thanks for the info.
I'll post up my findings in a new post, rather than thread hijack.
