Coffin Dodger

Due to only having the weekday work horse at the moment and no near term solution to my lack of weekend car (at least until we've financed our extension) I think I need a BHP fix....

Was thinking of having a week in the countryside (hire a cottage etc.) later on this year and was wondering if I could hire something a bit sporty for the week.

Having done a little googling there are many places that will hire you a Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo, etc. but the prices are ridiculous. I realise I might have to reign in my expectations a little, but even a Boxster S is nearly £1k for a week.

Anybody got any recommendations for places that are a bit cheaper

Would be cool to hire a Scoob for the week but I don't think there are any places that do it. Maybe ask a dealer for an extended test drive to help me make my mind up
