Been two years on the run to Antalya Lara Beach, a place called the Delphin Palace.
Loved it, but didnt leave the hotel much, so dont actually know what Turkey is all about.
Its hot this time of year....really hot.
Dont buy anything to eat at the airport, stupidly expensive.
Get a fresh tenner ready on your way in with your passport, and smile as though you really want to give it to them.

I went to Gumbet this year, LOVED IT!
Nice people, great food, nice location.
Couldn't ask for more from a holiday and we WILL go back.
Make sure you take some sterling, they love a barter
Ten English pounds is needed to buy your visa to get in the country, that's per person!

you need a bank of england tenner to get into turkey. i **** you not. yes the men are horny bastids, but if she ignores them they soon get bored. don't ffs ask for any help at the airport with bags n stuff you will get fleeced and they only lift them up one flight of stairs and about 50 yard to the bus. the pimp then asks you for £5 or 5 euro. tell them to **** right off if they touch your bags. cheeky wee ***** the lot of them.

They take a tenner off you at passport control, if you give change they make you wait, if you give a twenty you will get no change, if you look pi55ed off at giving it they make you wait out of the queue.

Been there a few times. I think they pester women if they are on their own in bars and the like. If you are with her they won't. Maybe the odd chat up line from a waiter, but I'm sure you can handle that.
My experience of most places in the med is that there are flocks of local boys trying it on with the tourists, maybe experience has shown them that plenty come over for anonymous ********?
You only have had to seen something like 'turkish toyboys' on tv a few months ago to realise what a bunch of dirty slappers british women can be when abroad.
My experience of the Turks is that they are far more friendly than for example the french, spanish etc.

turkey is great, its the end of spain portugal etc for me, its cheap when you get there, dead friendly, as long as you get a 5 star hotel, they are great.
we went here
Thomson Holidays - Palm Wings Beach Resort
we have been twice and our neighbours got back from the same place yestedray, they loved it as well,
the only downside is midsummer its simply too hot,
i will tell you another hot tip as well, if you have a place there you can get a bank account, have a look at the bank rates.
