Gentlemen, do all your better halves like driving over potholes or is it just mine? We've just got back from the supermarket and it was like an automotive game of "join-the-dots" as she crashed the suspension over one manhole cover after another.
I like to look well ahead and try and avoid such obstacles if reasonably possible on today's urban minefield roads. I don't advocate swerving wildly as if avoiding a child, but I am sure it is better for the car, passengers and ironworks if you can do your best to avoid such impacts.

I live in Sheffield pot hole central. My girlfriend is not to bad to be honest. But then again I do go crazy if I drive over them if I don't see them soon enough.
I live a new house estate and it took them ages to finish the road. In the end my girlfriends offside shocker cracked causing it not to allow any damping. I put in a claim against the housing company and won an out of court settlement of just under £400.00. Good times. Took less than a month to so I was quite surpriced. Ended up getting a service on the car for nothing.
Apparently you can do the same on the council roads and they are happy to pay out if you can prove damages etc. Just took me a few stern letters threatening legal action along with photo's of the raised manholes and pot holes.

Im sure it's not like they think '**** it they're only wheels'. Unless all your missus just drive 'the car' regardless of what it actually is, and how much the tyres/wheels cost to replace.
Personally I will avoid them every time I see one if possible, there are some huge ones by me, that would not only damage the wheels, but if not avoided they could possibly rip the bumper off the car.

To the OP and wimmin in general. I think the regular bouncing as they go over potholes, ruts etc is just them 'getting off' on the vibrations ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Actually, it's Mr OS who's ALWAYS kerbing the alloys! Drives me mad!

And I avoid pot-holes (unless it means killing a cyclist)

Looks like all your ladies need to go and have a re-test. Either you are all taking the ****, or all your ladies are crappy drivers! I am certain which is true. lol.
If I were to hit a curb i'd feel really disappointed in myself, not because I had curbed my lovely gold speedlines, but because I would have proved myself an un roadworthy driver or ANY car. Not just because it's my beloved scoob!
Come on lads, get a grip..... we aint that bad.
