1950s classics - post your top choons here...
OK, due to overwhelming demand (from LisaWRX) 
Here is the definitive 1950s classic tunes thread.
I hasten to add that I wasn't around when these tunes were first recorded and released
but my musical researches have consistently lead me back into this era.
It is were the roots of all modern pop music originates from, and the quality from a performance and technical point of view is undeniable - indeed outstanding.
All of the songs of that era were recorded on just 4 track tape machines
Anyway, without further adoo.. here we go...

(I do my share of this working just off Oxford Street and can confirm it's a fine way to spend an hour or two...)
