Richard Hammond involved in another crash
Mr Hammond, 39, allegedly ran into the back of a Nissan after another car braked suddenly at a roundabout near to the village of Over in Gloucestershire.
Three years ago, the television personality was seriously injured in a 280mph dragster crash during filming for the popular BBC Two show.

Top Gear's Richard Hammond crashes again - Telegraph
Does not sound like he as been injured but his Morgan Aeromax sounds like a write off.

The Police attended the scene only to manage the traffic build up. There were no reported injuries, and all parties drove away from the scene. That wouldn't be advisable if his car was a write-off More sensationalist BS from Britains 'news' papers
Actually, I initially read the Daily Fail version which was much more sensationalist. The Telegraph link above is quite fairly written, apart from the need to highlight the performance and price of the Morgan. The same accident would have happened if he'd been in a Micra, so these facts are irrelevant IMHO.

Hammond damaged the part of his brain which controls spatial awareness, and admits that he now finds it difficult to park a car.
Should he BE driving? He was obviously too close to the other vehicle. He must be declared fit to drive NOW by medical and lose his licence till proven

jesus H christ, this one is bordering on delusional
...the cost of this car was met presumably from Hammond's salary - paid for by the licence fee payer... I'm sick of my licence fee funding the lifestyle of such people and this programme made by teenagers for teenagers. I'M an adult and would like to have more programmes designed for GROWN UPS!

I wonder if Raymond from Poole has a life?
So the Hamster had a bit of a shunt...... seeing as there are plenty of people who can't manage to judge how far their car door opens before it contacts the car in the next parking space, presumably they all have brain damage as well.

And more importantly his Breitling Chrono Avenger was unhurt in the accindent, this small but very important snippet of information has been missed by all posters here and in the daily rags.

Since he was at the back of the bunch it seems as though it will all be down to him as far as fault is concerned. Bad luck on him to damage his lovely Morgan but it can happen to anyone with a lapse in attention.
I would not want to run him down particularly, like Clarkson and May he can be a very good presenter on a TV programme by himself but as soon as the three are together as on TG they turn into a bunch of OTT teenage types who become irritating to say the least. Their attempts at humour are just not funny.

The bloke had a bump, as do millions of drivers each year and they dont get a character and lifestyle assasination or claims that they are brain injured and incapable of driving any more.
As for their juvenile teenage humour, it seems very popular with the British public, I personally dont want Tony Mason and William Woolard back reviewing tossy 5 grand hatchbacks or going to a vintage Bus rally with a 2 minute morsel about drag racing just to keep you watching.
Mr poole can stick his licence fee us his ****, I am sure my licence fee funds gardeners questiontime, points of view and such stuff he probably likes, cant be doing with "Outraged from Poole " types, be he reads the Daily Mail and moans about cyclists not paying Road Tax.....

I wonder if Raymond Poole posts on SN!
TG is an entertainment programe predicated loosely on cars and motoring. It's been this way for a long time. The people who want a more straight laced car review programme really should have grasped that by now and moved on......but people love to moan!

Trust the Daily rags to miss out the most important and relevant point....his daft hair style. I mean, the rest of the "news" is just tosh, but they could have legitimately had a go at him for looking more like a scarecrow each passing week
