Question Cobnuts
Anyone know if you can eat these picked straight off the tree? Got them falling all over the garden currently with lots of empty shells so assuming the squirrels are getting to them first.

Also are they harmful to dogs as ours eats anything that lands in the garden?

I think they are a type of hazelnut and are perfectly good to eat. They say that they are very nice when they are still green. Doubt it will bother the dog.
