I'm going to try and reclaim my Personal Loan Insurance back and as i'm such an imbecile when it comes to things like this I need to use one of the many companies that advertise.
I'm aware they charge diferent rates of commission.

Has anyone any experience of these companies? Any particular one that you could recommend based on that experience?

do it youself, plenty of template letters out on th web

I reclaimed 2k of bank charges -- took an evening sorting thru bank statements and 2 letters

As above, go on moneysavingexpert.com or which? and download a letter ... trust me, you have a better chance of having your complaint upheld if you don't involve 'ambulance chasers'.

What grounds are you complaining - not eligible to claim? Didn't realise it was optional? Was told your loan had a better chance of being approved with it? Didn't know you'd taken it?
