Hard to believe....

A gang of children as young as seven put a rope around a boy's neck and strung him up from a tree, the victim's mother said.

Bradley McLachlan, seven, was left dangling inches off the ground in a Portsmouth Park after the three attackers reportedly ran off laughing.

He was able to hoist his body upwards before being rescued by an older boy who walked by.

FFS...

Erm, society is breaking down and feral children are not being told "no", police have no powers to do anything without lots of evidence, no discipline in school, poor parenting, video games and films which glamourise violence.....

The list is endless.

By the way, I forgot to add that I am totally disgusted by these childrens' actions and do not think my list is an excuse for this behaviour.

Children think they own the planet these days. They think they are invincible. The children who have done this probably sit at home making camp fores i the living room while the parents spark up a *** off it.

kill' em all, let God sort 'em out. they have no respect for for life and should therefore be given no quarter. we need to eradicate these scummy, low life, bottom feeders that offer nothing to society.

Now wouldn't the rope marks around the boys neck and footprints on the ground be evidence ?

Below the age of criminal responsibility so even with evidence there would be no conviction.

It feels at times like this country is on it's knees...

Its just the logical outcome of a bloated state, political correctness and welfare. No personal responsibilty and no punishment = random acts of cruelty. Nothing amazing, just depressingly obvious.

No morals... if our leadership has no morals or social standards (thieving, mismanaging and have little regard for the people..), would you expect any less from the public?

"how many of us would be prepared to give up some of our civil liberties, to eradicate this sort of behaviour?"

Thats a non sequitur, why does one imply the other? It doesn't. I believe you should be free to do anything you like PROVIDED IT DOES NO HARM TO OTHERS. (Hurt feelings do not constitute harm BTW). But this going O/T. Part of the personal responsibility I mentioned earlier is to do no harm. Neglecting kids, not providing proper guidance and instilling a sense of right and wrong is doing harm, as is expecting everyone else to pay for your choices (I'm harmed through the removal of my earnings)

You get the general picture Im sure....

I'd happily pay another 10p in the £1 tax to put more coppers on the beat and to build more prisons to house scum like this.

Fecking country is a disgrace, I can't wait to retire at 40 and get the **** out of here.

Exactly right, all part of the moral degradation which will be nigh on impossible to cure.

Ballcocks to prisons. Buy bullets and shoot the little scumbags and (if approrpriate) the scummy filth that brought them into the world. End of problem.
