Might be good for the discounts I guess.
I just tend to use my credit card for everything and pay back in full each month. Get 1% cash back with my Egg Money card.
I'm guessing the pre-paid card doesn't give you any of the consumer protection a credit card has as it doesn't fall in the realms of the consumer credit act. I would therefore still continue to use my credit card for Internet shopping, high value stuff, etc.
