Default 59 plates

Anyone picked up a new car today? What have you got? Maybe the neighbours have one?

If it was running on fumes when he picked it up, like when i picked up mine recently I can well believe he'd be in a gas station already

I am really glad that I can stick with my 8 year old car which is in first class condition all round and does exactly what we need it to. Far better than throwing all that money after a new car and losing so much the day you take delivery.

Its called a lease!!!!!. We have a new van arriving in a week, when the 4 yr old one goes back, with 290k on the clock!!!. Oh we are 5k overdrawn and a customer has just gone bust on us!. So us couriers are flat broke, but the wheels in the leaase companies keep turning.

As do Renault on the Clio 200.

Mind you, that's to stop things falling off within the credit cooling off period

A carefully run in engine will last longer and perform better than one that is thrashed from new. Well worth getting a bit of a polish and smoothing out the machining marks on the all the running parts and that is best done with progressive use of the performance.

Is it Allan, so you would happily drive it? I couldn't help thinking that I just would never drive one, but then again she has just given her 02 reg Pug 307 to her 19 year old son...... in my opinion she has more money than sense.

Glad your daughter likes it though. We cant all be driving around in Scoob's and Leon's (the other car).

I'm pretty sure that a Mazda 2 is brilliant for someone trying to build up their no claims bonus and get some experience of driving.

Hysteria is a halfwit who drives a Crappy Impreza. I'd never drive one like he's got, probably with gold wheels. Leons are even worse... what an ****. Hysteria you are a Troll...Pete is that you...stop winding people up...lol

If you are not Pete put the mouse down and ring for help.

Oh and to clarify, I have not said that there is anything wrong with a Mazda 2.
It was a simple tongue in cheek comment about the fact that the other car owners in the street are in a different league of car ownership.
