Default Building a trailer?

Thinking of building my own car trailer.

Would 4 of these suspension units comfortably hold a Subaru?

Value 750kg Suspension Kit: BG-units

Or should I just go down the full beam route?

Mostly theyre rubbish. Proper Indespension units have the circular axle bonded into the rubber and the suspension action comes from the bonded pivot causing the rubber to twist. Cheap units (virtually everything else) have a square centre at ninety degrees to the outer (diamond in a square, if you like) with the gaps filled with rubber. Here the suspension action comes from squashing the rubber, which is massively inferior.

I have built a couple of trailers in the past, one for motor 'bikes and the other for a car.

I found that using a full width beam axle made it easier to make the trailer torsionally stiffer and therefore more stable.

Its not clear if 750kgs is their individual rating or the rating as a pair. Given that they are unbraked hubs, I would suspect its the weight for the pair. Using 4 of them gives you a capacity of 1.5 tons. This is not nearly enough for a car like a scooby - remember you have to count the weight of the steel used in the trailer as part of the axles load, so by the time you are finished building it, you will probably only have around 1 ton capacity - too little for most cars.
Besides, they are unbraked hubs - a transporter needs working brakes on all wheels.
