Shell V Power points

Shell V Power points
I've had a shell v power club car for almost a year and have acrued quite a few points as i fill up the works van every day.
Yesterday i went online to check my balance and it showed my balance way below what it had been and then i noticed it said xxxxx points redeemed and £xxx fuel vouchers
I haven't received any vouchers so was wondering if i've been scammed or does it take a while from shell redeeming the points to the customer actually getting the vouchers?
I take it they post the vouchers out and you take them into the petrol station and hand them over instead of money?
Website doesn't really explain anything

Not as flexible as it used to be. You have to nominate the type of gift you want to receive for your points. The default is fuel vouchers, equivalent to 1 or 2p off a litre.
I think the ferrari gear is always good quality and would rather have something tangible for my points

I've had one for about 2 1/2 years from Scoob ownership through to my Pug which needs 98+ ron fuel. First 18 months I heard nothing so sent an email with all necessary details. Got a dodgy looking reply back asking for all sorts of personal crap so replied I wouldn't send this sensitive info over an email. Got no reply back, so found a leaflet on the clubs in my local Shell and called customer services. Basically what had happened is at their end my account was 'dormant', so although acruing points by the bucket load, I was set not to receive any vouchers back. Sorted that out and the week after I reveived a £40 fuel voucher Get vouchers every so many months now.
The drivers club no. is 08459 006 008 and I'm sure from that you'd get through to the V-power club (if the above isn't it already).

You should get the vouchers attached to the statement they send you every quarter. I've selected the shopping gift cards, so just exchange the vouchers they send you for the gift card you want when you next fill up at the garage . Just cashed in £50 of vouchers for a Debenhams card.
A few years ago you had to "cash in" your points which meant you could build up a massive total and exchange them all in one go. They've stopped this now by sending the vouchers every quarter up to the total you have in your balance for that period, and rolling over any spare points.
I cashed in about 60,000 points a while ago

Well i got my statement this morning (did they see my post yesterday ) and 2 vouchers attached £19.50 + £15 which have to be used by the end of november
Not bad i suppose but i prefer the old days when i could collect vouchers at the station and swap them for things in their catalogue (hedge trimmers, power drills, etc)

hmm just checked online and mine has been changed to "gift card voucher" and the points are gone
I suppose i should expect a giftcard through the post at the next statement then!
