Well if you dont win this one then its game over - if u do win it will spice Group B up thats for sure. I have a £25 bet with a mate that Man Utd get further in Europe than 'pool

It used to be we would **** it up away from home, then come back to Anfield and recover in spectacular fashion. I just hope that now we have cocked it up at Anfield, we can go to the Neu Camp and kick some spanish butt.

Nice to see some much support for Liverpool FC on here. My seat is booked, in the pub. Owen's wasn't too hot in the last game, still shame he won't be on the bench tho.

Hopefully he'll be fit for the next game, still hope, just. Still top game, pitty the ref was a blind as a blind bat and a few oscar winning moments for Barca, cheating w*nkers.

Shouldn't be a problem beating Roma [everything crossed] At least The Kop will get behind them ... if you can watch it on the box - listen to the noise, it will be awesome!!!
I'll spare a thought for ya Dunk while I am cheering them on from The Kop

Roma are a TOP, TOP side. Liverpool will have to play very well to beat them, but when you've got Owen you've always got a chance (provided your defence doesn't leak goals)
Didn't someone on here Annelka was gonna be sold to 'pool for £10m? Word in the papers today was no prior agreement has been reached on a price, so they want £17m for him. Will Liverpool cough that up ?

Sorry Dunk Thats how I felt when I didn't go to Barca Was meant to go...but my mate couldn't get time off work!
Well at least for a few hours today - they have been Top of the League after beating Boro and having played badly!!!
Liverpool need to dig deep in their coffers and defo buy Anelka...he got MOM today

He's been quoted as saying "he hasn't enjoyed playing football so much for a long time" - the fitter he gets - the better he is playing. I think the orig. agreement with PSG was 15m.
Just a pity he can't play in the Champions League

Great win today at the 'boro.
7 games left and five at home.I reckon 5 wins and a draw should be enough........biggest problem is united look awesome on current form.
Whatever happens, we need another top class striker and Anelka seems to be coming good at the right time. Its gonna be close
BTW what about my local team Wolves 0-Grimsby 1

Well with my team, Newcastle, drawing against a pretty below par Ipswich team, you can forget about us bothering the top3 with a title challenge. In our favour we've got a pretty straight forward run-in (we've played all the top teams) but we miss Bellamy too much and can't score without him.
Now if we can just keep Chelsea off our backs and get a Champions League place, the cash would come in mighty handy...
