JACKO, yes, if your car uses an analogue tuner it will be FUBAR when the signal gets turned off. Most later cars are being fitted with digital receivers, however my 2002 S8 will eventually lose the TV function.

Basically, its foobarred.
I can get an aux input kit, which will allow me to plug in any a/v device (DVD, PS3, freeview box etc), but I loose the ability to control the tuning/channels etc via the HU controls and its not cheap. So I guess its that or fit an aftermarket head unit.

do you see that one on the range rover, where from one side it was showing sat nav, but from another angle it was showing a dvd, really clever.
