Do something amazing
I had the honour of being at a talk by Miles Hilton-Barber this week, a true inspiration.
In his words, blindness has given him a vision.
He thought his dream of flying was ended by blindness, not so. After passing his pilots licence he flew (with a co pilot) by microlight from London to Sydney. Not being fast enough, he became the first blind pilot to break the sound barrier in an English Electric Lighning (Mach 1.4). He's run the Marathon de Sables, trekked 400km across Antarctica and holds the lap record for a blind driver at Sepang.
An unbelieveable man with a very witty, non-PC approach to presentation. He certainly inspired me to do something amazing and not blame my circumstances.
