watched it... total cr8p, couldn't follow it, car is great (I knew neons would make a come back), till it turn into something out of Power|Rangers.

His on/off gf is worth paying attention to but not much else worth seeing.

It may be something that I'd let my 8 y.o watch, but there is the odd scene that makes it only suitable for an older audience. The asian female techie uses a lot of sexual innuendo for example.

But otherwise you need to take it with a pinch tub of salt. Speeding up the film to make Kitt look like he's doing 200mph, that went out with 80's series like Streethawk. The ridiculous tech that they have access too, for a mature audience you don't mind a stretch of the imagination, but what they use is simply quite too far fetched - Kitt is seen doing over 300mph at some points, the nano technology paint that make him impervious to any damage, the transform.

Not for me, but the wife likes it. I think when other sci fi series have made a good living out of getting down and gritty (BSG), it was a shame that it couldn't have been turned into something real edgy - Kitt having some tech, but Mike being a good/bad detective with a sub plot of his mental issues from Iraq. This would have been good for a post 9pm audience. Instead it fails to be either a kids program or an adults.

I saw some of the pilot tele-movie for the new series and wasn't overly impressed, saw the first 30 mins of the first episode of the new series and again was not at all impressed.

There is suspension of belief and then there is total crap, guess which one Knight Rider falls into.

The original was great because it was cheesy and knew it was. The new one tries far to hard and fails.

It is not surprising that NBC reduced it's season order to 17 episodes from 22 and then in may did not renew for a second season.

The networks will put out crap like this and survivor and other such poop, but then they cancel the good stuff such as Firefly, all because the ratings say it's not being watched. As if the neilsen's aren't completely skewed anyway.

only think which would keep me watching it is the totty. Val kilmers voice as kitt is just wrong, imho!

I gave this five minutes the other night and could feel my IQ dropping quicker than it does whilst watching GMTV. Utter tripe ! Even pretty wimmins couldn't rescue it.
