Orange broadband and phone package - rip off?
I was on the Orange, broadband only, £15.99 a month package.
A month ago I signed up for the £9.99 a month broadband and phone package.
I was told that I would get free weekend and evening calls through Orange and that all other calls would still go through my existing provider (BT)
So I asked the very specific question "so my bill from you will never be more than £9.99 a month" to which I was told "it will never be more than £9.99 a month"
I get my first bill - £50 odd - £9.99 for broadband and £40 of calls - calls which I was told would continue to be provided for and charged by BT.
I only used to pay BT around £80 a quarter (£25-£30) a month for all phone calls.
Is this a rip off - have I been mis-sold ?? Anyone have any experience ?
Called Orange "systems down call later"
