What on earth is going on ! it seems like every day somewhere in the news somebody hits the news by by being a pedophile,
It sickens me for the victims but,why do people do such a evil sick actions and why does it seem to be on the increase.

No idea why they do it, but not too sure if it's on the increase.
Maybe years ago it simply wasn't broadcast as much or as well known about. From what I understand, when it went on, more so than these days, it was kept behind closed doors.
Totally agree though, vile and disgusting

The internet seems to have enabled the swopping of material between these sick people
and almost seemed to have increased the demand for more images etc.

It is definatley more publicised these days as I know from personal experience due to a family "friend". Everything was hushed up nicely thank you very much.
I would gladly kick the f*@kers to death if I had the chance of getting hold of one.

Higher population
Lower moral standards amongst some people
The internet allowing people to indulge in their perversions + meeting and sharing inforamtion, contacts and material with others, who, it would have been difficult/impossible to locate or identify pre internet. The internet itself os no bad thing but like all technology it can be used for good and bad.
The opening of borders and the people trafficing fpor the sex trade that seems to go on with little interest from the authorities
IMHO of course

As someone said above, it just gets reported more. Plus, in the case here ....
.... things get exaggerated for various *political* reasons ...
See Inquiry fails to find single trafficker who forced anybody into prostitution | World news | The Guardian
"... The UK's biggest ever investigation of sex trafficking failed to find a single person who had forced anybody into prostitution in spite of hundreds of raids on sex workers in a six-month campaign by government departments, specialist agencies and every police force in the country. The failure has been disclosed by a Guardian investigation which also suggests that the scale of and nature of sex trafficking into the UK has been exaggerated by politicians and media.Current and former ministers have claimed that thousands of women have been imported into the UK and forced to work as sex slaves, but most of these statements were either based on distortions of quoted sources or fabrications without any source at all. ..."
The usual story, you can tell when a politician (or journalist in this case!) is lying as their lips are moving!
But yes, kiddie fiddlers should not see the light of day again, ever. I would say have their gonads removed but there's a case at the moment in Plymouth where at least one of the culprits is a woman. Apparently she's now told her lawyers some of the kid's names she abused.

Peadophiles have and always will be around. Certainly that is the reason (I assume) that when I was a child I was always told to be wary of men offering sweets etc.. And before then when society was less 'civilised' (pre 1900's) then it went on all the time.
In order to get your 'fix' you either had to commit a crime or know someone who could get you pictures and magazines. All very dodgy, covert and generally underground.
What the internet has allowed is all kinds of like minded (sick minded if you prefer) individuals to be able to swap stories and pictures and communicate in a way that is unprecedented and extremely difficult to Police. They are getting better and hopefully it'll go back into the murky world it once was.
As a seperate thing, I'm always quite suspicious of the Police finding images on the PC of almost everyone they convict....

Yes there have always been Paedophiles of course but it is the general attitude to life these days which has changed significantly.
There was a time time when moral rectitude was highly valued, these days it is sliding down the ladder!
