Proof: McDoom is a retard
Check this out. Looks like it was written by a three year old:
What a disgrace the man is
Gordon Brown angers mother of fallen soldier with condolence letter that spelt family name wrong | Mail Online

I saw that, and could'nt believe that the bloke responsible for running the country can't even spell, after all there banging on about education, and how it's so important to educate our children properly, that mong can't even spell correctly, the hypocrite should be ashamed of himself.

Im shocked and outraged by it personally. That a man of such position can have such a poor grasp of spelling, let alone the scribbling.
I commented on my Facebook and got these replies to it.

Pah he didn't have to write to the family and well shes more concerned with the fact he made a few grammatical errors as opposed to her sons death !
If one of your family members died and I verbally offered my condolences but I stuttered I'm sure you wouldn't be outraged !

how respectful is it to sell the story to the papers?
his handwriting is awful, and he should ve got the name right- but at least he hand wrote a personal letter, and didnt just get someone to send a templated typed one

What a total insult to both the boy's memory & to his family to receive such a scrawl. I would rather receive no letter than that mis-spelt, badly written cr@p.
Good on the mother for showing it to the world - and showing the leader of this country (remove the o) for what he really is.......

Now, my handwriting has been complained about for being 'untidy' ever since I was about 8 years old. It was getting a lot better but a combination of a) too much typing rather than handwriting plus b) an accident which partially severed a nerve in my right wrist means it is fairly bad still. Hence why, even if I write to rellies, I use a word processor. That way they don't have to spend days trying to decipher my scrawl. If I also had one eye missing and was partially sighted from the other there is now way I'd try write to someone by hand.
TBH, I reckon he was trying to do the right thing here, I mean he does get flak for not seeing the dead troops home, but his execution left a lot to be desired ..... IMHO ....

Well,I don't think he will be handwriting any more letters of condolence.
Is that a good thing?
It seems a little odd she decided to take what is essentially a very personal letter to the press IMO.

The 'intent' behind the letter is what matters.
If it was sincere and written with true feeling and sorrow - then I see nothing wrong with it.
To jump on a blind man for bad hand-writing is a disgrace, have a go if it is insincere - not because it is penned by someone you dislike!

With such poor handwriting, and they gravity of the subject, if it was sincere and not written with all haste then surely anybody in their right mind would at least try to make the writing level and not slant upwards on every line!!
Personally I think it's disgraceful.
I don't accept his being blind in one eye as a resonable excuse either as he manages to read ok from pages in various speeches and in the commons!!

Yes the sentiment is the important part of it. Therefore if its sentiment above presentation, get the poor fallen soldiers name right!
Exactly my point too.
This guy is charged with running the country for god sakes! But gets 2 peoples names wrong. That's just disrespectful.

I despise cyclops with every fibre of my being, and that letter is shocking. However, I think it is bad form for a private letter to be released to the press for a few typos and poor handwriting.
Judging from the stick I get for not tolerating a single typo in CVs, I had presumed it was now acceptable to have poor spelling and attention to detail...

Some of the comments on this thread are grossly unfair.
Surely we should be commending our PM for hand writing letters to the families of soldiers killed in action. It would be easy for him to simply sign a proforma letter.
I'll remind you that there is absolutely no correlation between hand writing neatness and intelligence. If there was then Einstein would have been a retard.
Sometimes it would be nice to read some considered views on politics rather than hate filled rants
There are plenty of legitimate reasons to have a go at the PM, this isn't one of them

Very wrong of her to go to the press with the letter in my opinion. In her place I would have returned the letter to McClown expressing my disgust at receiving such a poorly scripted, terribly spelt and worst of all wrongly named letter. It is insulting the memory of the lad that died to not take the time to make sure you have all the right details.

Therefore 0.1% of Scoobynet do run the country.
Ergo Gordon Brown must be a member of Scoobynet.
As such he must have read at least a few of Tel's posts on grammar.
So he should know better.
Therefore you are right, hang the *******!

As a member of SN GB is obviously acutely aware of UB and his inane prattlings, and is clearly applying the UB test, namely; ‘what can I do that is most likely to send that little turd wrestler mad’
Suddenly everything makes sense
