anyone else having problems getting onto sn?

I can get on, but it takes so long for any page to load.
Absolutely crap in this day and age.
I can see why SN doesn't have the same amount of traffic as it used to have.

Yup, had problems myself. It looks like it's effecting quite a lot of other forums that Internet Brands owns, so I'd say it's something at their end causing the problem.

A site of this stature having these types of issues, its a wonder people aren't flocking away in droves, the place is notoriously slow at the best of times, then we have to endure days of this magnitude?
a sorry state of affairs, IMO

It's only the internet!

Internet Brands are experiencing network problems. They have worked through the night and the issues are proving hard to trace. Please bear with them while they resolve the problem.
This is not isolated to SN, many (if anot all) of IB's websites are suffering the same issues.

It was really bad yesterday, it was taking such a long time to download a page that it was throwing me offline. It was nothing to do with the Internet in general or my download speeds which were as normal.
Very frustrating.

I don't know why people get so worked up when an internet site won't load. Jesus, chill out. Watch tv, read a book, go out for a pint. Is scoobynet your life?

And your response is better??
Don't shoot the messenger; I'm just passing on a message.
Is the internet my prime concern in life? No. And it never will be; Its only the internet!
I can't fix it, I'm not an administrator. I have no direct contact or direct involvement with IB.
If you want to complain properly, at least aim your rolleyes in the correct direction by sending Bob Brisco a letter voicing your opinions. Maybe if he hears enough of it, he might order someone to do something about it (doubtful, but one can hope).

Word on the street is that somebody was threatening IB and they went down to the server based under somebodys sofa, and then kicked it to ****ery
But don't worry folks, they have been banned.
