Default Mr Bump's latest boo boo... Trigger finger release surgery

I thought I would share it with you all.
Surgery last Friday, went well. Talked the surgeon into doing digit 4 as well as 5 at the same time, as the problem was starting to develop.

Even been cut by a scalpel when the anaesthetic has not worked? I have !

Anyway, dressings came off today, so I took a nice fresh picture.

Cheers Les, i'm kinda hoping this is the end of it now. I have got to the end of the arm now, and everything else has been successful to date, so hope this one it too.

Down side though.... I have recently started displaying signs of tennis elbow on the other arm now..... Here we go again! Not too bad at the mo though, so gonna try alternative treatments for now and see how it goes.

Its all very tender at the mo, but much more mobile than my hand was at this stage after the CT release in April.

Nope, but I gave birth without pain relief.

Have to say that does look painful though. How did you end up needing that done?

Good for you Seriously well done. Nice to see some people still going natural.

It was a strange sensation, felt the cut and drew a sharp breath, then felt another cut and stopped them lol. Second anaesthetic soon took care of business.

Trigger finger and how I got it, gawd knows really. Guess its sort of related to the tennis elbow release, and carpal tunnel release I have had on the same arm/hand. Something has caused problems with the movement of the tendons, so just needed their sleeves cutting away to allow them to move.

Being asked to clench and release a fist while he watched what was happening inside my hand through the cuts was probably one of the wierdest ever things I have done.

27 mins with a tourniquet on frickin sucks though! Glad its over.

That pic is awful, looks really painful.
My butt had a bit of padding and is actually not as painful today. According to others, hopefully at most a couple of weeks. Thanks

I must have missed something, what's happened to your butt Lee? Anything in that area can't be good.
