Default Any share dealers around? Dragon Oil.

I've just found a share certificate which i'd forgotten all about.

Turns out the shares are now worth just under £4 each.

The question is- do I sell them or sit on them? I've never been much good with shares, unless losing loads of money counts as good...

When did you buy? Presumably at the end of last year/beginning of this year, or a few years ago when the price was under £2?

It's your decision. I don't think anyone on here would want to advise you on the outlook or what to do in particular, but remember you only 'make' the money when you sell. So if that money would buy you something you want, or go a long way, you might think about selling.

Just looked at the graphs. Very sketchy, doesn't trade often. Impossible to give a proper opinion with such little turnover. There are loads of these little exploration companies floating about, all hoping for the one big discovery! Hold them unless you need the money i guess?

I've had them about fifteen years, and haven't seen the share certificate since we moved house about 12 years ago.

I forgot all about them as they didn't exactly perform well when I first bought them.

I'll check with our lady who does our accounts but I'm almost sure her husband had some yonks ago when they were worthless. He sold them and then the price went up considerably.

How many you got? If your not comfortable with them, flog them and spend the money. If you want to keep them and see what happens, do so.

711 They've gone up enough for me I think, unless it looks like they're going to go up loads then I'll probs sell them; it hasn't been the best of years and it would come in handy to pay some stuff off.
