Tiger comes clean...
Just watching it on Fox News, he has released a statement. Meanwhile his on/off lover has dumped him in it.
Currently getting torn apart by the presenters.

On a more light hearted note .....
1: Tiger Woods is so rich that he owns lots of expensive cars. Now he has a hole in one.
2: What's the difference between a car and a golf ball? Tiger can drive a ball 400 yards.
3: Tiger Woods wasn't seriously injured in the crash, but he's still below par.
4: What were Tiger Woods and his wife doing out at 2.30 in the morning? They went clubbing
5: Tiger Woods crashed into a fire hydrant and a tree. He couldn’t decide between a wood and an iron.
6: Perhaps Tiger should be using a driver?
7: This is the first time Tiger’s ever failed to drive 300 yards
8: Apparently, Tiger admitted this crash was the closest shave he’s ever had.
So Gillette has dropped his contract.
9: After a wayward drive, Tiger Woods found water before nestling behind a tree

I don't think much of all this intrusion into his private life. All done with a view to making money out of media sales too.
I would much prefer to see him and his wife left alone and allowed to sort their lives out in private.
I am quite happy just to see him play golf in his inimitable style.

I have to say, now the truth is out, I would rather let it fizzle out too.
My curiousity originally was driven by the same things as the media. It didnt make sense what had happened, and I just wanted to know if what I suspected.
Not interested in names, dates etc.
Hopefully he can get his house in order. Would be a shame to see him start to tumble now.

That's the most airbrushed pic of Mrs Woods i think i've seen. Ok she might not be a happy bunny at the moment but the pictures i've seen of her recently have made me wonder whether he couldn't have done a bit better with all his billions? Maybe that's what made him look elsewhere...

Tiger says that media have no rights to his personal life as he is simply a professional athlete.
I would argue that he is anything but a professional athlete. He has a career that is founded on being a professional athlete where for every dollar he makes as a golfer he gets probably a hundred if not more for endorsements.
And his endorseable image is one of high virtue and 'clean cut', and as a role model of moral standing. If he lives his life in a different way than the image that he sells so successfully then the media and the 'buying' public do have a right to that.
He cannot claim the media/public has no right to the difficult stuff when he sells the 'good image' for around $100m a year.
