I have just received a cheque through the post.
Problem is they have spelled my name Allan instead of Allen.
Will I still be able to use it ?

Thanks for the replies
It is my first name & it is a relatively small amount.
I just didn't fancy the 10 mile drive to my nearest branch & paying parking for it to be a wasted journey.

Shouldn't be a problem with that.
Accounts here last month managed to send a cheque for one company to another with a completely different name (that started with the same letter); it went right through and was paid by the bank to the other company without anyone noticing.
