Question for the lads!
If your soon to be Mrs was organising your entire wedding in the Peak District would you prefer to drive your Scooby to the wedding with your best man or would you prefer your Mrs to be to rent you as a surprise an Aston Martin DB9 for the day?
Am undecided whether to rent him something different for the day or ribbon up the Scoob as it is our baby!

Haven't even started thinking about the honeymoon yet!
Am sorting the whole day myself. Just told him to turn up really so maybe cutting money somewhere else to get him a fun car for a day is worth it then from your reactions.

i can't help but feel that people who have used subaru's for weddings (and there has been alot) will at some stage in their life regret it as nothing more than a sad act.

Vanquish S is the same price mid-week. Need to call them tomorrow and see what the deposit is and read all the small print.

Only rent one from a very reputable place if your from leeds, I know off a few companys that were renting them out then sending someone out to key them so they could charge the huge excess!!

DB9 every time, without doubt.
Only a complete tw*t would have a Scooby as a Wedding car. And all the guests would just think of you as a Chav with no taste.

As much as I loved my Scoobs, it's a no brainer. DB9.
Any old twonk can drive a Scoob, the Aston oozes class, out of reach for most people, the sound, the looks, etc. etc.
DB9. DB9.DB9.
Did I say DB9?
Geezer
P.S. DB9

If i went to a wedding and they were using a scoob/evo etc.. then even i would think it was a bit sad!
I'm not sure where the boundary lays own using your own car, i think if your car is newer than the 70's then you definitely look like a tw@t.
I think i would either just let my mate take me, or if i had money to burn, then pick the DB9. The cost of the DB9 would probably get you a few extra days honeymoon though.
I have seen someone use their VW Split Screen Camper, and that was pretty

You really need to check out some horse and carriage services before saying that. A good one looks better, is alot more stylish and says alot more about your character than turning up in a DB9.

are you mad?
I was going to have a WRC99 Impreza to go to my wedding in... but ended up having 2 best men so that option was out of the window so instead I hired a helicopter and all 3 of us flew to the village and landed next to the church..
Hire a helicopter for an hour or so
would be about the same money as hiring a DB9 for the day
Cheers
Rob
PS all the best and enjoy your day whatever you choose

Am not into old fashioned cars really and neither is he so it just wouldn't be us at all.
Helicopter is a good idea very different. Horse and carriage for the lads not sure really. They probably would be annoyed at me.
