Default Clownwatch

Has anyone read this lately?

I'm suprised there is not any discussion about it at present....or maybe it's mixed in with another thread and I've missed it.

Looking at the comments, it would appear that this blog has struck a nerve with some!

Cheers Bubs! ;-)

Having read some of the comments on there I'm alarmed that some people think that certain ex-muppets of my acquaintance are behind this. I can state categorically that this is not the case. I'd love to take credit for the Matteeboy stuff as I think it's very funny, but the rest of it is just not something myself, or indeed any of us, would wish to take credit for.

SDB. said... at least a few months ago this blog would have been amusing, now it's just bland.

Well done, you've succeeded in making this once mildly amusing blog 'mundane'.

Muppets forum anybody ??

Yes that was me asking to have the identity of "SDB" (or as the **** printed in his last effort, SBD) revealed. It just shows how utterly uninformed some people are.

Tel, you capitalised your personal pronoun TWICE on that comment! Is the stress getting to you?

I don't find the content hilarious; I really feel no inclination to want to be spiteful to complete strangers.

However, the idea that anyone sincerely believes that others will give a damn what a complete stranger on the other end of a keyboard thinks about them on the sole basis of their contribution to BBS forum is amusing and sad in equal measure.

This is the fundamental problem with trolling: no matter how competent, how eloquent, or how witty your efforts may be, at the end of the day you're just someone with nowt better to do than snipe at people you don't know from behind a keyboard.

And the more effort you put in, the sadder you look.

The joke is always, ultimately, at the expense of the perpetrator, but they're too blinded the "jollies" they get using their alter egos to see it.

Clown watch epitomises this!

One observation as a mod: some people rant against this site, it's members and the webteam, yet for all their apparent disaffection, they just can't seem to stay away from the place!

Surely, if something is no longer to your liking: vote with your feet. Life's too short!

Sorry thats my seasonal thing Laughs Like Santa....... Beats lol hands down.

Well I have to say, its actually quite sad to see that if im honest. I of course (being the attention seeker that I am) hope I will get a mention at some point. But personally, I just think its a bit lame, and maybe someone has run out of things to say?

Im with Jamz on this one.

I posted a thread up about it ages ago. Have to admit to finding it hilarious... even the post about your tattoo. It's the way it was worded.

But the latest offerings are a bit petty.

But apparently they're still sufficiently well acquainted with this site to offer "witty" deconstructions of current members on the basis of recent conduct.

Moved on and left SN? Yeah, right!

They wouldn't be happy if they couldn't bitch about something/someone....that's the truth!

They're a bit like a jilted partner that just can't quite get over being ousted and proceed to implicate themselves in their ex's life to try and show them the error of their ways. All about ego, or lack of it!
