Knox and the guy involved, Sollecito, have also been ordered to pay compensation running into millions of euros. How does that work? They have no way of earning the money and I guess they don't have that kind of money already, so surely it's pointless making the order?

That still doesn't make sense. I can't see how the rest of her family can be made to pay the compensation when they have nothing to do with the crime. It would be like me being forced to pay a speeding fine on my brother's behalf if he didn't have the means to pay - it wouldn't happen.

A job inside isn't going to pay anywhere near enough to satisfy a multi-million euro compensation claim.

I think her parents are/have a lot of cash/investments so they will end up paying the compensation.Plus her dad said he wants a retrial for knox add another six years on top of the 26

Most Americans see her as innocent. She's pretty, angelic etc, one of their own, mid-west, middle-class types.

I gotta say the Police screwed up the forensic evidence, but other stuff makes her look guilty.
