Default Electric firelighter

My new toy, I have an exciting life

Grenadier Electric Firelighter

In exactly 2 minutes it lit a mound of coal, no faffing about. Even if you get a fire lit with newspaper and kindling, it can still go out relatively easily and you end up with a load of ash from feeding it with newspaper.

Holy smoke, they are expensive. You can buy a lot of petrol for that price, and its much more satisfying to use

Has a nice fan to keep it going once started, and a nice stand which means you don't have to hold it.

At that price, I would expect them to send out a butler to light the fire for me

It think it is worth every penny when the alternative is fires that are a pain to light and go out too easily, and you live off the mains gas network and LPG is expensive.

So does ours! Our old cat was smouldering once, and just lay there whilst we were frantically brushing off the embers!

Bit pricey

Dont think our fire has went out in about 3 years so would hardly be worth it.
