Could be out from a hub to be delivered to a local office, so "delivery" would be a confusing yet logical status.
Hope its not gone **** up.
Could just be an incorrect scan on it too.

Never had a problem with them.
Indeed, when I sign for an item and check its tracking it states that I have signed for it and names me ... this is within minutes of it arriving!
The problem comes when they 'drive by' without stopping because they are under pressure to deliver a certain number in a certain time.
Also, if the CityLink Hub is a long way away from you you will have a long drive ... although they try to deliver twice.

That's happened to me before, seen it go to one depot miles from me, then next day its mysteriously on the move again. They didn't actually send it out for delivery though
That shipment was at least a day late IIRC

They were great with us for a year, then they got absolutely awful. You could pretty much bet your life savings on the fact that if you had a parcel that was urgent and had to be with the customer the following day before 12pm, that at 11am it would be misrouted on the moon.

They are f'ing hopeless. Was due to get a parcel from them today... their tracking site says...
"There was no one to receive the goods at the delivery point so a card was left."
Was here all day, no card has been left. F'ing bustards.

all courier companies really struggle this time of year because of all the on-line shopping.
we have 2-3 companies in a day at work and they all look well stressed at the moment. The DPD driver that came in yesterday had been to 23 non-work addresses and had to leave cards at 18 of them because no one was in. He gets paid for each delivery as well so was not to happy.
I'm lucky where I work cos there's only two of us in UK office so we are currently getting xmas pressies delivered by lots of friends/family cos someone is in the office during the day, normally!
I sympathise a bit with the courier drivers doing drive-bys on residential addresses because lots of peeps order stuff online knowing full well they work 9-5 mon-fri so wont be there to take the delivery. why do that?

Try using the city-link site to track your parcel, not Amazon's, James.
Whitechapel Road, and who's Abdul that signed for it?
We, the drivers at City Link, not that I ever have, can't just "drive by" and card a delivery off. We've got to take a photo of the property when a card is left.

We used to have a local depot in herts, that was superb, drivers always turned up for collections, however deliveries through other depots were always hit and miss. It was almost a sadistic running joke that anything that was really important to hit a delivery time would always get lost, misrouted or delivered to the wrong address.
Considering how many parcels were collected from us it was probably a small percentage but towards the end it was almost a daily occurance when we would be making a double money claim back.
I believe our local depot moved to Hemel in the end.
I'm pretty sure this is common amongst all couriers that parcels get mislaid but the op asked about citylink, and that was my experience

Slave = Delivery driver for City Link.
Was only curious.
Double money back claims are a damn good thing IMO, just a shame that there's too many fecktards employed by the company to realise that these claims affect them.
Them, and other things, and I might have had a payrise in the last 3 yrs.
I can only speak for myself, but I don't "do" late timers, think the last late timer I had was about 3 years ago, and that was due to a massively late trunk.
Others don't give a **** though. I've friends that actively ensure that City Link isn't the company they're getting their delivery off, but, would happily use us, IF, I was their local driver as they know I don't take the ****.
I've companies on my round, that used to use us, but stopped when my round got changed 4 yrs ago and they then had a succession of **** drivers who delivered/collected late/if at all.
It's not the company, it's the staff. Most of whom are crap.

Lo Mick
To be honest, I haven't a freaking clue who Abdul is - I did wonder at the time as no-one is called that who works for us! But it may have been security which in itself is strange as CityLink are in/out of us all the time - new driver?
But parcel was on my desk and that's all that I am worried about.
I used Amazon's as they were the people I paid for the service, not CitiLink. Their link to "track your parcel" brings it up - where else should I go? Your site just masks the "originator" depot - which is what Amazon should have done.
Difference about us is that you can see your courier and what street he/she is actually on, not just a status update.
But at the end of the day, I got it
