Default Cordless phones, multiple handsets?

Wife fancies one with four handsets in total, but do you still have to keep within the REN for your property?

I thought being driven off the one socket (which mine are) you only have the one figure in use.

I'm running the BT Freestyle 7150 (with 1 master and 3 remote handsets) just running off the one socket. I figured this was the ideal way to cut down on signal loss within the house for the 'net connection

Panasonics are the ones to go for as you can block specific in-bound callers on the handsets of some models.

As stated only one unit is connected to the phone line, I have two sockets and use two dissimilar pairs of phones to cover all three floors....

Oh, and good morning, hope you and your's are well.

I'm stuck at work again.... 62 hours so far this week, don't you just hate Xmas ?

I always mislaid my handsets then the batteries would go. It drove me mad. Went back to single handset with long life battery and no problems

Whatever you do, don't go for the BT Graphite. We've always had Panasonic, but Mr OS decided he liked the look of the Graphite when we went to buy a new phone/answerphone a couple of weeks ago. It's sh1te! Really cheap and nasty, and the sound quality is apalling, especially on the answerphone playback. I should never have let him persuade me to get it . It's £130 worth of cack!

Went for this one: Buy PANASONIC KX-TG7324EM QUAD | Kx-tg7324 quad - Specification | Comet

Gets good reviews, reasonable price, and has enough handsets for one in each of the kids' bedrooms and one in the loft.....yes really I build 7mm scale models up there and when the phone rings, have 6 rings to get back down the ladder to answer it, or the answerphone kicks in

Nearly came down faster than I went up last week

We have Panasonic DECT kit with an answer phone and it does the job just fine. Don't forget to keep an old fashioned plug-in phone in one of your sockets as the DECT stuff won't work if you have a power cut.
